All Libraries Will Open for Visits in July

We will end Curbside to Go as library buildings reopen.

Versión en español / Spanish version

All libraries will open for visits by July 14. Hours will change at all locations. Curbside to Go pickup will close. You'll be able to pick up holds, browse, use computers, print, and get help from staff inside any library. You'll no longer be able to pick up holds, surprise bags, or prints outside.

Services will be modified. We'll continue to assess and apply health and safety protocols as needed.

Hours

Most libraries will be open 5 days a week. A few libraries will be open 3 or 4 days a week. Some locations may reduce the number of days or hours they are open each week. Doing so will allow us to staff all locations.

You will be able to find new hours on your library's location page closer to opening.

Prefer to send your holds to a different location as libraries reopen?

Call your library. The phone number can be found on your library's location page. Ask for your holds to be sent to a nearby library that's open for visits. You can view a complete list of libraries that are open and browse them on a map. Please note that it may take 1-2 weeks before your holds arrive at the new location.

If you choose this option, you may also want to update the preferred pickup location in your account.

Need an accommodation for contactless service?

We want all members of our community to be able to use the library. We can make a variety of reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Please contact us if you need an ADA accommodation. Find a list of locations, hours and contact information here. You may also get in touch with the library access coordinator at access@kcls.org
